The mystery of tanya city

mikami and cynder continue there journey and soon arive at tanya city

Aimee caught up with Mikami and scanned the city. "Wow... this place is bigger than I thought!" she said.

"Hm, that's strange," Aimee said, rubbing her arm.

a pokemon suddenly runs out of a dark ally way

Aimee watched it scurry away. "I wonder what's going on..."

i dont know but dont like it

"Maybe we can get a little closer to investigate?" Aimee suggested.

mikami walks farther into the city being very wary.

another pokemon runs by

"how come theres only pokemon here?"

"It's certainly odd--I've heard Tanya City is usually really busy," Aimee said, putting her hands in her pockets and following Mikami. She looked around at the shadowy alley ways.

"let's try the pokemon center"

"Good idea," Aimee said. "There has to be people there."

Aimee also joins in the calling. A Rattata scurried in her path, and she stifled the scream with her hand. She continued to follow Mikami, calling Nurse Joy's name.

mikami checks out the back where pokemon are supposed to be healed

mikami looks and is shocked to see all the lights and equipment on but no one was anywhere to be seen

This isn't right... Aimee though, rubbing her arm. It just doesn't feel right.

mikami walks out of the pokemon center.
almost immediately after stepping out of the pokemon center mikami is attacked by a raticate

"AHH.
cynder flamethrower"

the light from the flamethrower seems to have scared the raticate away

Aimee rushed over. "You okay?" she asked.

yea im fine. thanks to cynder

"so what now. should we stay and see whats going on or should we go?"

"I think we should at least figure out what's going on. Oh wait!" Aimee pulled lifted her wrist to reveal a Poketch. She punched in a few things and her mom's face appeared on the small screen. "Hey, Mom," she said. "Uh... I'm--well, we're in Tanya City and--"
"We?" her mother asked.
"Well, I met this guy and battled him and we decided to stick together for the trip. Anyway, we're in Tanya City, and, well... take a look for yourself." And at that, she turned the watch to face the barren land. She turned it back to herself. "No one's even in the Pokemon Center. Do you have any ideas?"
"Let me see the news..." her mother said as faint voices appeared in the background.
"So, a--"

"Mine's out, too," Aimee said. "Something's up."
