Panicking!

Razor ran through the brush, panicking. He loved the city, but that was just crazy.

Star chased after him, glancing back every now and then to see if the trainers were following them or not.

Razor stopped in a clearing and plopped down. Maybe the wild was better after all. He listened contently at the sounds of dawn.

Star caught up, and sat down, panting. "I can't believe that trainer let you go," she said.

Razor sighed, and his eyes began to close. He made them shoot open. "Yeah, I guess it's surprising," he mumbled.

Star lay down beside him, resting her head on her paws. "We havn't gotten any sleep last night, it might be good to get some rest," she thought out loud.

Razor nodded slightly, and gave a stifled sigh. He fell asleep without another would

Star stared at him for a second, her ears back. Then she turned and closed her eyes, quickly falling asleep in the Dawn light.

--NEXT MORNING--

Razor awoke, yawning and stretching. He sat, his eyes still half-closed.

Star remained sleeping, dreaming about her old life when she was an Eevee in the forest. She had always liked the city so much better than the forest, she just wasn't cut out for life there.

Razor noticed that Star was still sleeping, so he just lay down.

Star jumped up immediately into a fighting position, looking around quickly. She relaxed as her eyes rested on Razor close by. She took a deep breath then sat down. "Sorry...," she began, a bit embarrased. "Thats been happening alot lately, its just because of the dreams I have.." she stopped and shook her head as if to clear the thought.

"Definitely sounds strange. What kind of dreams?" he asked.

"Just of my past is all. When I was an Eevee out in the forest. I was all alone and I was pretty clueless so you can imagine I got picked on alot and into alot of trouble with other Pokemon looking for fights. Once I almost died trying to fight a Charizard, thats when I evolved. I beat it after that and moved to the city where I was so much more at home. Since then I've been everywhere, to every city and town, across every forest and plains... but everywhere I go the city is where I feel most at home. Any time I get out of the city those dreams come back. I feel safer when I'm not in the forest," she spilled it all out. When she was finished she was suprized at how much she had told him.

Razor nodded. "Same as me," he said. "My appearance usually did the trick, though. Still, I feel much more at home in the city."

Star gave him a quick nod then stood up, shaking the dust off of her. She yawned once more.

"Where to now?" Razor asked, looking around for any dangers.

"I'm not sure," she replied. "I'll go wherever you want to."

Lavender trotted threw the crowded city streets.She let out a meow for help and sat there waiting for a answer.
