Bathing in the hot lava

Miles lied down calmly in the hot lava, letting it warm his pelt. Other fire pokemon were either swimming or resting on the warm rocks. Miles loved it here. He had grown up here and managed to not get caught by any human for five years. He would usually just hide in the lava where they couldn't see him. It worked like a charm.

Shiba wandered along the sides of the volcano.It was nice and warm but smelt of cinder and ash.Shiba headed up to the top and saw many fire pokemon relaxing.

Miles was almost asleep when he heard the sound of pawsteps close by. "Hello there!" He yelled out to the arcanine. He registered her scent, able to smell through the ash and cinder from living there all his life.

"Hi." Shiba said as she lept onto a nice warm rock and began to lazy about on it.

'Are you new here, or have you lived here for a while. Because I have never seen you round here before." He asked curiously. He sighed in pleasure as a wave of lava rushed over him, warming up his face.

"I am new here.This isnt like the desert or like the plains at all."Shiba said."Really Hot up here."

Miles nodded. "Yep, just the way most fire type pokemon like it." He said with a smile. "Have you ever swam in lava?" He asked her, cocking his head to one side.

"Swam? In Lava!? No. I have in water though.I love water."Shiba smiled climbing into the lava."Wow!This is very hot."

Miles gave her a funny look. "Swim? In water? Eck." He said. He despised water. Lava was his love. He loved the firey feeling it had. "Ha, you get used to it after a while." He said to Shiba, going deeper into the lava.

"Huh..Its ok.I guess.But water..Hmm..Wonderful."Shiba smiled.

Miles chuckled. "Talk about your opposites!" He said with a grin. He then walked out of lava, and climbed onto a nice hot rock.

"Hmm.What is there to do up here besides be hot,swim in lava,and lay around?"Shiba questioned.

Miles shrugged. "You can sleep, eat, and hunt." He said with a slight laugh.

"Doesnt sound that exciting."Shiba said still swimming around in the lava.

Miles shrugged. "It can get kind of boring up here, but at least it is relativly safe from humans. They don't go up here much because of how active the volcano is." He explained. He had felt the same way as she did before when he first came here.

"Humans..Ha! I could take down a human easily." Shiba smirked.

Miles chuckled. "Well, aren't you humble." He joked sarcastically. "Yeah, it really depends on the human. Pokemon hunters are the ones that you mainly have to watch out for. They go to the most dangerous locations to catch pokemon, and never back down. They are very dangerous. They will sell you once the catch you, or just keep locked in a cage to show you as there 'prize' ." Miles warned her. His friend Azlan from the ancient lands had been having trouble with hunters for the last few months. They had been tracking him and attempting to catch him for a while now. He hoped that he was alright.

"I have came in contact with a trainer.But usually i defeat them.But there was this one time a Pikachu electricuted me while i was unconcious and that severly hurt me." Shiba said. "My best friend,A Houndour belongs to a trainer.But his trainer is so nice.I always hanged out with them and never once was tryed to be caught by his trainer."

Miles nodded. "A pokemon that kicks another pokemon while their down is just a coward." Miles said.

"Yea."Shiba nodded.She layed back down on the rock and moaned.

Miles settled down deep in the hot lava. He loved how warm it felt.

Shiba woke up from her sleep and shook her fur.She got up and let out a roar.
